J. M. Johnson has served the Church for more than two decades, including 17 years as a missions pastor and over 22 years in ministry leadership. She holds a Master of Divinity from Gardner-Webb University’s School of Divinity and has dedicated her life to helping believers live out the commands of Jesus in practical, everyday ways.
Her deep love for God and people is also reflected in her heart for foster care. Johnson has fostered 17 children and adopted 3, embodying the call to love one’s neighbor in a tangible and life-changing way.
She lives in Asheboro, North Carolina, where she continues to teach, write, and mentor others in discipleship and obedience. Whether leading mission teams, writing devotionals, or opening her home to children in need, J.M.Johnson’s passion remains the same—to help others follow Jesus wholeheartedly, one act of love and obedience at a time.
